Gábor Boldoczki will give a guest performance in November at the Festspielhaus Bregenz together with the soprano Iwona Sobotka and the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra.

The baroque cantatas as well as the arias for trumpet and soprano count most probably to the most beautiful and most important works of the trumpet´s chamber music repertoire. With works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Giuseppe Torelli, Georg F. Händel this wonderful combination will be performed in Bregenz. The world famous cantata no. 51 "Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen" by J.S. Bach will be a highlight within this program.

Being winner of the internationally renowned music competition of the ARD in Munich in 1997, Gábor Boldoczki was now a member of the jury at this competition in September this year.

Gábor Boldoczki will give a trumpet-piano recital together with his chamber music partner Gergely Bogányi at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center and at the Shenzhen Concert Hall.

With the premiere of his trumpet concerto op. 31 the Turkish pianist and composer Fazil Say presented an impressive message of musical interculturalism (...) tailor-made for the trumpet. The Hungarian trumpeter Gábor Boldoczki (...) performed it with equally brilliant and smooth virtuosity.
